About

My name is Kent Redfearn and I am Paula’s husband and Jonathan, Queilla, Daniel, and Danee’s father. Becoming people of fully realized potential is one of my energizing interests. I am privileged to participate in this journey as a leadership consultant, father, husband, missional strategist, motivational communicator, mission-preneur, and pastor.

Policy Governance (Carver and Carver), Situational Leadership II (Blanchard), The Secret (Blanchard), and a variety of other presentations are part of my love for seeing organizations through deep and transformational change. Most commonly I am asked to work with organizational teams and not-for-profit boards of directors.

Along with several others, I am one of the Pastor’s of the tremendous Muldoon Community Assembly, located at 7041 DeBarr Road in Anchorage, Alaska. Tabernacle Prayer is a very important aspect of my Christian devotion. I have the goal of seeing Tabernacle Prayer in 100 countries. In addition to my roles in MCA, God has granted me the joy of serving as Co-Pastor with Pastor Joany Bazemo, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, West Africa. In Burkina, we joyfully participate in the drilling of water-wells, building church buildings, building schools, orphanages, pastor’s homes, and providing cows for the purpose of plowing, pigs for eating, and seed for planting. We are connected at a personal level with Pastor Max and Mereoni Wiltshire, Founders and Directors of the Australian Aboriginal Outreach Ministries.

In addition to Joany and Max, I am honored to have coaches who love me. Abbott Loop Community Church Pastor Rick Benjamin, Greater Friendly Temple Church of God in Christ Pastor Melvin Williams, Cedar Park Assembly Pastor Joe Fuiten, Anchorage First Assembly of God Pastor Gary Morton, and Sitka Assembly of God Pastor Bill Welch are some of the guys God has tasked with guiding and shaping my life.

As a life long learner, I have enjoyed learning at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington and at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California. Northwest University provided the opportunity to receive a B.A. degree in Religion and Philosophy with a minor in New Testament Greek and Azusa Pacific University opened the door for an M.A. in Leadership Studies. Next on the life long learning journey? I plan to enroll in the Regent University Ph.D in leadership studies.

This blog is designed to celebrate the transformational successes in the lives of those who worship God at at Muldoon Community Assembly. On these pages we are bringing the local back into church.

  1. Hi Pastor,

In the sermon today ( 8-17-08 ) you said that you believe you will die in a situation where you will have to be responsible to Jesus and not consider your own rights. Cassie Bernard from Columbine High popped into my mind. Am I off track? Can you explain any details?
Also, I missed church a few weeks ago. Kim re-capped some of your sermon. You mentioned a food shortage coming to the US. What are your thoughts?

    Your brother in Christ.
