How can I get involved?

We are trusting God to provide the resources needed to complete construction and purchase furnishings.  As of July 31, 2014, we have raised $___ for this project, but we trusting God to provide the additional $____ needed to complete construction.

We can raise the money needed by working together.  The following chart illustrates how you may be able to get involved.  Please prayerfully consider which of these gifts your family may be able to give:

Creative Ways To Give

Cash, Real Estate (appreciated property), Stocks or Bonds, Life Insurance Policies or Cash Values of Policy, Antiques, Works of Art, Jewelry, Coin or Stamp Collections, Income Tax Refunds, Irrevocable or Revocable Trusts, etc.

In reviewing these possible creative ways to give, please be reminded that as a general rule, a gift of appreciated property (long-term capital gain property) is deductible up to 30% of your adjusted gross income, and a gift of cash is deductible up to 50% of your adjusted gross income, with a five-year carryover for any “excess.”  In recognition of the fact that tax laws often change frequently, and can be a complicated issue for many, you are asked to consult your tax advisor regarding the tax, financial and practical implications that could possibly affect any gift you are considering for the campaign.

If you need or desire assistance with a planned gift to the stewardship campaign, professional counsel is available to you via the AG Financial Solutions.  There is no charge to you or your church for this service.
